What fee does TikTok Shop charge per sale?
Most US categories pay a 6% referral fee on the order total, including shipping and any platform-funded discount. A short list of categories pay 5% instead, so change the rate above to match your category.
Is there a separate payment processing fee?
TikTok does not publish one universal processing rate the way Shopify or PayPal do. It is usually folded into your settlement report, so check a recent payout statement and put that percentage in 'Other fees' for an accurate number.
What happens to fees when an order is refunded?
TikTok Shop returns the referral fee but keeps 20% of it as a refund administration fee, capped at $5 per SKU. Worth building into your numbers if your return rate runs high.
